Friday Musings

1. These Spring succulent wreaths are so perfect for a Spring wedding. I love the heart and cross as well. Would be so cute on a church door!

2. We love this dark and dramatic Chuppah! So used to the blush and pastel colors, it's nice to see it in dark plums and purples. Just gorgeous!

3. Want a fun and different hanger for your wedding dress on wedding day? How about this fully sequined one from Etsy. At just $14 you can get one for yourself and all of your bridesmaids. With your dress on one surrounded by your bridesmaid's dresses, it would make such an adorable picture.

4. Did anyone else see Ashlee Simpon's engagement party attire? It was absolutely perfect for a bride-to-be! Why not take after Ashlee and deck yourself out in feathers, fur, whatever you want... because quite frankly it is YOUR time to shine!

5. These Kate Spade pumps are the perfect shade of blue. Love these paired with a crisp white dress... sooo a wedding dress or rehearsal dress. Leaning towards a rehearsal dress so you can show these beauties off!

4. I'm sorry, but is this not the absolute cutest most lady-like veil ever

5. Spring is here, which means peonies are nearly here! Why not wow your guests with a gorgeous peony-filled arrangement as soon as they enter??

Friday Musings

1. Check out this list of the top 32 views from restaurants. They are located all across the world, and could help you choose a honeymoon location. OR maybe you're already going to one of these places and we just got one dinner checked off your list.

2. Outdoor wedding coming up and still want to rock those beautiful heels? Try these Grasswalkers and  your problems are solved. Give them to your bridesmaids too!

3. Want a fabulous Caribbean honeymoon without the big price tag? Huff Post with the help of TripAdvisor did all the research for you. Here's a list of top places to go without breaking the bank. Their number 1: Puerto Rico. Direct flight from Houston too!

4. We love this mix of florals and confetti for an exit. Flowerfetti from Etsy is a fragrant and fun way to send the bride & groom off. We love the lavender confetti, but check out their whole site for all the different options!

5. This advice from the Modern Bride back in the 50's is amazing. Times have changed juuuust a little.

Academy Awards... Fashion Awards

Last night's Oscar's were everything we wanted them to be. Funny girl Ellen DeGeneres brought the laughs all night long, and the stars brought their fashion as well. Big win for Texan native Matthew McConaughey and for first-time movie star Lupita Nyong'o. However, the biggest surprise of the night, was how fantastic the men looked! White and navy were all the rage. Perhaps a look for your groom? And the best dressed goes to...

Alia's Favorite:
Sally Hawkins
in Valentino

Caroline's Favorite:
Naomi Watts
in Calvin Klein

Chelsea's Favorite:
Kate Hudson
in Versace

Christine's Favorite:

Jordan's Favorite:

in Prada
Natalie's Favorite:

And a little praise for the men...

Friday Musings

1. Naked cakes are all the rage these days. We love this one, a play off of Hilary Duff's naked cake back in 2010.

2. Love this little guide on how to mix fonts. Easy reference for Save-the-Dates, or a fun invitation from wedding to baby shower and more.

3. How amazing is this runner? The pop of color is so gorgeous, yet not overdone. We also love the looooong table look. So many perfect details in this shot!

4. We love this list of 10 Oscar Party ideas! Which fun glitzy idea will you use?

5. Not sure what to wear for your engagement photos? We love this gold dress. Its bold, but such a lovely & perfect shot of the couple. So intimate yet still glam! And who doesn't want that?!

6. A little extra in honor of the much-anticpated Oscars. This is AMMMMAZING. A look at every dress worn by the best actress Oscar winner, dated all the way back to 1929. Enjoy :)

Paper City Feature

Grab a copy of the most recent Paper City Mag and you'll find Belle of the Ball throughout their newest issue! We have not one, but two weddings featured, plus a fun new ad! Here's a quick recap on what's inside the mag, but for more go pick up a copy today!

First up is Meredith Riddle and Patrick Chastang's nuptials in beautiful Durango, Colorado. The gorgeous Colorado wedding took place in December at the Glacier Club with the help of Christine. I do's were said outside overlooking the snow-covered Rocky Mountains. Guests stayed warm standing on the balcony with hot toddies and hot chocolate as they watched the couple become The Chastangs! With the help of Papellerie, the couple's monogram had a unique Colorado touch. #idoindurango was used throughout the weekend! Belle's favorite detail of the wedding weekend was the bride's favorite candle, Hotel Costes Brown, was lit at the reception so her signature scent was part of her big day! A few photos from photographer, Chris Bailey are below. Enjoy :)

The second amazing wedding featured was back in July at Ellington Field on a private airline hanger. This enchanted forest themed wedding was so perfectly executed by Caroline, stepping in to help day-of. We especially loved the hand-made silk wisteria hanging over the ceremony as the couple said their vows. The long tables that lined the reception made for such a gorgeous room. We loved all the personal touches to this couples day. From the theme, to the cakes, each detail was chosen to reflect their love of renaissance.
