Princess Zara Weds!

Another Royal wedding took place this weekend in Scotland! The Queen's oldest grandchild, Zara Phillips, wed rugby player Mike Tindall. She looked beautiful in her Stewart Parvin gown. And of course, Kate was there too!
Just before Zara enters the Church.

The happy couple!

Why, thank you for coming!

Wedding favors can be tricky. Do you or don't you? We always recommend that if you give a favor it should be something really special to remind the guests of the bride and groom or something edible. Here are some great favors we found on etsy.com  to help you with your decision!

These fleur-de-lis lollipops from Hitthespot, are perfect for your French or New Orleans themed wedding.

Treat your bridal party to a custom cookie that looks like them as a thank you for being part of your special day!

Also from Katie's Something Sweet are these customizable wedding cookies. Your guests are sure to get a kick of you and your groom in edible form!

Everyone grabs matches from a restaurant, so why not let your guests think of you when they are lighting their candle at home! They come in a variety of colors and patterns to fit your style.
Found at Lil Missi on Etsy.

If you don't have time to customize your favorite soap, chocolate, or cookie, just drop any item into these adorable bags from  Paper Moon by Kat.  These bags are perfect for any wedding and allow you to throw in your last minute gift and still look like you had been planning it all along!

Pintrest

We always encourage brides to make inspiration boards, but finding time to flip through magazines, cut out images you like, pin them to a board, workout, go to work, and plan a wedding can be too much sometimes!  Plus, once you've made the board you can't take it out on meetings with you. So, when we found Pintrest, we were elated to realize we can make our inspiration boards online!

Take a look at our inspiration board from today!

Happy Pinning!

Lucky in Love

It doesn't have to be just St. Patrick's day to feel like the luckiest Bride in the world.  Take a look at this adorable feaux wedding from Shannon Leahy, where the theme was inspired by Ireland and of course...the shamrock!

The monogrammed chairs for the bride and groom are lovely! The best part... you get to keep for your home after the wedding!

This boutonniere is  the perfect size for any groom and the nosegay is great for mothers or grandmothers. The parrot tulips and lilly of the valley are so elegant anyone would be lucky to carry them!

The clovers  above the menu cards add a perfect touch. Often times, brides want to put a single flower near the place setting, but it can get expensive.  You can pick the clovers out of your own backyard!

Beautiful blooming branches are perfect for Spring weddings, as shown above.

Slàinte is like “Cheers!” and literally means “health.” Its a great way to incorporate some Gaelic into the reception and of course pints of Guinness  with shamrocks!

Brilliant Blue

Blue flowers unfortunately do not exist in abundance in nature. Using blue accents are a great way to bring in the beautiful color.
