Belle's Bags III

With the third look into the Belle's bags we get to learn a little more about Alia and Mimi. Take a look inside to see how they conquer the event world with style!

 

Alia's Contents

"My big blue leather tote sometimes becomes a bottomless pit, but I love it because I can drop anything quickly and easily in there!  I sometimes dress it up with a silk scarf.  I always have a Zone bar on hand - these especially come in handy on days of back-to-back meetings!  My hot pink leather russell+hazel pencil case that a dear client gave me, I've turned into a wallet with a mywalit Italian leather credit card case - It's sleek and easy. You can also always find my Belle business cards, a tape measure, pen, nail file, and a black pouch of safety pins and bobby pins for last minute wedding day needs.  I also take everywhere with me my tattered yet beloved pocket prayer book from when I was about 13, mints, lip gloss, and a very light sweater to slip on in cold meetings or on my grocery store runs on the way home."

"Louis Vuitton is my classic go-to bag. Today, it's carrying my iPad and Belle clipboard for  meetings, my summer mint Kate Spade wallet, business cards, sunglasses,  Kate Spade lipstick and perfume to freshen up, and my Tory Burch small bag holds everything from mascara to hand lotion to mints for my everyday needs.  I love entertainment gossip magazines too!"

"My Goyard bag with my initials was my push present from my husband! I love it because it goes with anything and I can fit baby stuff in there too! Louis Vuitton makes the best wallet and makeup holder- they are so durable. I've had them for years and they still both look brand new. Also in my bag are my 3 favorite lip sticks, Sugar, Keihls lip balm and Nars Dulce Vita. I never go anywhere without icebreakers- they're perfect to pop in before a meeting. I love my Alexandra Knight "N" key chain from Christine, it ensures I never lose my keys in any purse or valet stand (I have lost my ticket a time or two...).  Keihls hand salve is a lifesaver and doesn't make my hands sticky in the Houston heat. Last but not least are my Chanel sunglasses- I love them because they're the perfect size and shape for my face!"

In recent years, the purse has been elevated from just another accessory meant to accent a woman's outfit, to a veritable lifeline for some . Gone are the days of the tiny wristlet or clutch for everyday wear, and in their place stand sturdy, practical and ever fashionable totes, bags and carryalls. "My Zara bag is more or less my modern day Mary Poppins bag- it has everything! Right now it has my new Belle clipboard from a morning meeting, my iPad, pen pencil & stylus for any type of note taking, a koozie because why not? the essentials- gum, eye drops, tide-2-go, hand sanitizer, advil and lotion (have one of each in every bag), Chloe perfume sample so I'm always smelling good, extra jewelry for easy outfit transitions, my Gucci wallet, my favorite chapsticks and lipstick, our new Belle business cards (in need of a card case) and  at least one pair of Ray bans at all times!"

Officially Summer!

With June almost under our belt, and the longest day of the year in the past, we are officially in summer mode here at Belle of the Ball! One of our favorite parts of summer would have to be the summer florals. Aside from our obsession of pink peonies, there are so many other bright & gorgeous blooms we love to incorporate in our summer weddings. Below are a couple of our top choice summer bridal bouquets.
