Red Carpet at the SAG Awards

Did you catch the SAG Awards last night? The fashion lineup got us even more excited for the biggest Red Carpet night of the year, The Oscars! But for a brief moment let's talk about the winners! And what better way to start than with Eddie Redmayne? I think our crush on him has grown immensely after last night's speech, plus that perfectly handsome grin... swoon. And what girl didn't love the big Downton Abbey win?! And of course we have to mention the almost fall by gorgeous Naomi Watts. I think our favorite part was Emma Stone's reaction. After Naomi tripped on the funny girl's gown, she looked shocked, embarrassed, and truly sorry. It just made us want to be friends with Emma even more than we already do. But enough with a recap, now onto our favs...

Alia's Favorite:
Camilla Alves in Donna Karen

Caroline's Favorite:
Julianne Moore in Givenchy Haute Couture

Chelsea's Favorite:
Sarah Paulson in Armani Prive

Christine's Favorite:
Reese Witherspoon in custom Armani

Jordan's Favorite:

Natalie's Favorite:

Valerie's Favorite:

Hollywood's Golden Night

The Golden Globes always marks the beginning of the award show season and more importantly the beginning of award show fashion! From TV to movies, all of Hollywood's biggest stars came dressed to impress. The show was absolutely fantastic! Our favorite ladies, Tina Fey & Amy Poehler again were perfect hostesses for the evening. We must say we LOVED George Clooney's acceptance speech and him gushing about his amazing wife. Other hits of the evening: Common and John Legend's acceptance speech and finally a Downton winner :) But enough of a recap, let's get to the gownsAs always, the Belles chose their favorites from last night and in historic fashion (get it?!) we all liked one fashionista's pick the most... Sienna of course. But not to worry we all chose more than one!

Overall Belles Fav:

Sienna Miller in Miu Miu

Alia's Favorite:
Amal Clooney in Christian Dior

Caroline's Favorite:
Emma Stone in Lanvin

Chelsea's Favorite:
Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad

Christine's Favorite:
Selma Hayek in Alexander McQueen

Emily's Favorite:
Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad

Jordan's Favorite:
Jenna Dewan Tatum in Carolina Herrera

Natalie & Vals' Favorite:
Emily Blunt in Michael Kors

Even the men were fashionable at the Globes! It looks like the navy tuxedo is the newest trend of the season. Perhaps a trend that can carry over to all of our future grooms?! We love it!

2015 Bridal Market Trend Recap- Separates

For the second part of our five part series recapping trends from Fall 2015 Bridal Market we review the designers bold choice to Crop. We saw several variations of the crop top as well as a handful of separates that are definitely all a break from the traditional white gown. You'll see a few that even bear a striking resemblance to this beautiful bride on her wedding day just this past summer! Some are a little more casual and could fit any wedding setting from a court house to a beach to a backyard while others are perfect for that glamorous black tie affair.

Check out our top picks!!

Fall 2015 Bridal Market Trend Watch

We think it's safe to say that this year's Bridal Market knocked it out of the park. So many stunning dresses that we just can't wait to see our brides in next year! Over the next week or so we will be recapping our favorite dresses from the top trends we spotted this year. We might even throw in a "Best in Show" every once in a while so stay tuned!

The trends that caught our eyes were Separates, Color & Pattern, Textural Appliques, Short Dresses and a turn towards Sleeves. All extremely impactful design elements that will make you stand out in a sea of white satin!

We start with what we think was the most noticeable trend... nearly EVERY designer incorporated it into their lines.

Textural Appliques

It seemed this year the everyone wanted their gowns to have a touch more depth and intricacy and with this 3D element, the gowns seem to literally jump off the screen! Everyone from Oscar to relative newcomer Naeem embraced this design and elevated wedding gowns to a whole other level.

Check out what we mean below!
